PARENT REVIEWS

My four year old son has been coming to Alphabet Tree for roughly 3 months now. So far so good!! He has been learning so much and the staff takes great care of him. I was told that it was the BEST DAYCARE/EDUCATION CENTER off of Route 28 the reviews are correct! I picked this center because of the positive reviews and it being close to my job. I drive every morning Monday-Friday from McKeesport PA just so he can attend here. Overall it is well worth the drive! The four year old classroom definitely prepares the children for the Kindergarten experience. I recommend this place for childcare! Schedule a tour and see for yourself!

I am a newly single mom with 2 boys and work full time. They have never been in a daycare/preschool setting before. The transition and change was hard for us at first, but the staff at The Alphabet Tree was caring, patient, and experienced. My boys quickly acclimated and loved it! It takes me 15 min to leave now because my boys have to hug all the teachers before leaving. I feel very comfortable leaving my boys with them knowing they will be loved and learning new things daily. It was a life safer for me and my family:) Would highly recommend!

Our daughter started at Alphabet Tree at 4 months old. We felt comfortable leaving her with the staff there. We respected the years of experience in the same place and creative use of space. My daughter loves going to school and has grown and developed into a very social little lady 5 months later now. Having lunches provided is also a massive help on a family with two working parents. We highly recommend this daycare.

My daughter started at The Alphabet Tree at 3 months old. To say I was nervous about trusting someone else to take care of her would be an understatement but the teachers at The Alphabet Tree made this transition so easy for both of us. Everyday when I drop her off she's happy to see her teachers and she is learning so much. The building is secured with a door code which is changed frequently and the staff is always on alert to see who is coming and going. I would definitely recommend The Alphabet Tree to my friends and family.

We transitioned our 3 year old daughter from home day care to the Alphabet tree 5 months ago and could not be happier. The team at the Alphabet Tree is very kind and provide the flexibility we need.

Our daughter is learning new concepts and comes home daily talking about the activities she is involved with at school. The Alphabet Tree provides a daily report to fill us in on her days, with what was learned.

Going from the small in home setting, to a classroom setting was scary for us as parents, but the Alphabet Tree made it easy. We strongly believe the Alphabet Tree is providing the foundation our daughter will need as she prepares to enter Kindergarten.

My infant daughter started at the Alphabet Tree when she was six months old and we could not be more pleased. We were hesitant to put her in daycare but our experience at the Alphabet Tree has been wonderful. The entire staff is absolutely amazing. The director is so easy to work with and the teachers in the infant room are so caring. Our daughter has become so independent since starting at daycare and she is always so happy when I go in to pick her up each day. The entire daycare is very clean and and our baby girl is well taken care. I would highly recommend The Alphabet Tree to any parent looking for a safe, educational and happy childcare experience!

We are amazed at how much our child has learned at the Alphabet Tree in just 6 months.  We have seen more progress with this daycare, in such a short amount of time, than the other daycare that we were previously went to for multiple years.

One of the successes of the Alphabet Tree was helping my child with his eating habits as they were able to get him to try new foods and add a little more variety to his plate. In regards to the educational aspect, our child can now count past 50, count in 5's and 10's, he can sing the months of the year and is starting to learn how to use the calendar.

The teachers are amazing and really care for the children. The school conducts fun activities throughout the year such as the Halloween parade, Christmas celebration, Valentine's Day and Dr. Seuss week. Every week they have a special letter for show n tell which the kids really enjoy. There are also some outside programs that the children can participate in for an extra fee which my child loves...Happy Feet and Gymagic Bus.

The daycare that I originally wanted my son to go to did not have any availability for roughly a year. Because I had to go back to work, finding a daycare that I felt lived up to the other one's standards became my mission and a very thorough search began. I happened upon The Alphabet Tree almost on accident....and I will forever be grateful that I did!!!!! This is one of those times where I am relieved to say there was a silver lining in the dark cloud I felt had been cast above! The Alphabet Tree has been such a blessing to me and my family. The staff is kind, gentle, nurturing, fun, involved, and they all work so very very hard out of their genuine love for children. My son has some separation anxiety and they tirelessly work through it with me during drop off almost 4 out of 5 days a week! I am amazed by their patience and understanding. I do not know what I would do without The Alphabet Tree! I would (and do :) ) recommend this daycare center to any family that is on a search to find excellent care for their children. Thank you, Alphabet Tree, for being there when I cannot.

Choosing a daycare for our then 6-month old baby was the hardest decision we have ever made. We reviewed 29 day cares online, physically toured 10, deposited on 2, and easily chose The Alphabet Tree as our son’s home away from home. The facility is bright, clean, spacious, and only 2 stress away from Mommy’s work. Notes from my spreadsheet at the time include “good hours, meals provided, ample staffing, happy, friendly, and lots of activities.” I can honestly say that my son’s infant caretaker Miss B. is like a 3rd grand mom to him. The staff truly cares about our son, his health, education, and our sense of well-being. Their reporting back to parents is top-notch. The owners are constantly making safety and technological improvements. Our son literally has to be dragged away at the end of the day, he loves The Alphabet Tree so much. I would make this decision again in a heartbeat. He has learned so much and is so advanced with us motor, language, and behavioral skills, in part, due to the staff at The Alphabet Tree.

After looking at several day cares, I chose The Alphabet Tree for both my kids. From previous experience with my older son who is almost 8 years old now and is a second-grader, I must say he is still welcomed with a big smile and love from his teacher and everyone else who taught him good manners, great values and the best studies to get him started for kindergarten and move on in his life for a very bright and successful future. This daycare has been a blessing for me as now my two-year-old daughter goes here too. The staff is very kind, loving, caring, helpful, understanding and welcoming. They take great care of kids and make them feel special. My daughter loves to go to daycare everyday which she calls school and I must say being a daycare they follow a very good curriculum of a school and get the kids ready for the next step in life.

The whole building is very secured. To enter the building there is code needed which is given by the staff at the time of joining. They also change the code every three months for security reasons. There are cameras inside and outside of the building. The outside of the building is very well lit up. There are lot of changes down inside the building as well. The place looks more bright and open inside. There is lot more place for the younger kids to play around. They are very flexible with the hours. They provide breakfast, lunch and snacks which is bery helpful for full time working parents like me. I personally have recommended this daycare to a bunch of my friends who are new to parenthood and need the best and special place for their kids to learn and grow with safety.

I love this place and I'm very thankful to every one who takes care of my daughter and teaches her the right manners, great values in life and the most important studies. The Alphabet Tree is a great day care and I highly recommend to everyone.

My family discovered The Alphabet Tree about 2 years ago. We previously had amazing and not so amazing experiences with childcare for our children, now ages 6.5 and almost 3. We had become even more discerning in our view of childcare options. Both my husband and I are well educated but we were not seeking the daycare with teachers who all had Master’s Degrees and the children’s day was very regimented. We wanted our children to be LOVED where they were. We wanted them to play and simply be a part of the everyday life at their daycare. The Alphabet Tree teaches children extremely well while maintaining a very loving atmosphere and not only allows, but encourages children to be just that, children. When you walk in the door, the teachers are down on the floor playing with little ones, sitting at the tables engaging with the older kids, they have mastered providing CARE and EDUCATION. Our children come home happy and clearly well taken care of when we cannot be there. The teachers are incredible and it is evident that they possess a love for what they do and a deep love and care for each and every child there! As an added and wonderful bonus, The Alphabet Tree provides meals for the kids in their cared. Not only is this extremely helpful to us from a time and convenience and point, I have also seen it create less picky eaters! Our oldest is in Summer Camp and Alphabet Tree and our youngest is in the daycare. The only thing I would change at all, is to have more outdoor playtime for the younger kids. Overall, we could not be happier with The Alphabet Tree and plan on being part of the Alphabet Tree family for years to come!!

Before I jump into my review, I will just say that finding the right daycare and the right people/staff to watch my kids is stressful. There’s so many little things and pieces to consider when looking at all the available options. But my experience with the Alphabet Tree alleviated a lot of that stress and worry.

The minute my husband and I walked in, the staff was really friendly and happily and patiently showed us around, taking the time to answer our questions. When we went back the second and even the third time, they were just as happy to see us and the Operations Manager, Ginny, really took the time to make us feel like part of their family.

It wasn’t just the face to face interactions either. When I called with any additional questions, everyone who answered the phone was extremely helpful and if I left a voicemail, it was always returned promptly.

Communication with the facility has been very good. When we requested a daily verbal report on our kid’s behavior, the teachers, especially Miss Trish, our son’s teacher and Director, was happy to do it. When issues arose, the staff, specifically Ginny and Miss Trish, really stepped up and made sure our worries and questions were addressed. No matter what the concern was or how small is seemed to be, they listened to what we had to say and then handled the problem promptly and professionally.

Overall, our experience with the Alphabet Tree has been excellent and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for childcare.

The staff is caring, respectful and kind to our family and greets our daughter with open arms. Since we started last year, there have been many great improvements and they just keep getting better. I trust that my daughter is in a safe environment with the excellent security system, fed properly and her development rapidly improved since day 1. The owners are personable and the teachers are amazing and responsive. Definitely 5 stars!

The Alphabet Tree is a wonderful daycare center. I was very pleased with the staff and the care that my children received. If we had not moved out of the area, my children would still be going there. The center was clean and well stocked with toys, educational materials and everything else a child would want or need. My children learned a lot while they were there and I would recommend the center to anyone looking for a quality Daycare.

Choosing a daycare facility is a very important decision. My children have been attending The Alphabet Tree since they were six weeks old. The teachers and staff have been loving, caring, kind and patient and have provided them with excellent educational experience. They have been very accommodating to me and my children’s needs. It’s very reassuring to know that while I’m away they are not only being well taken care of, but they are learning, growing, making new friends and experiencing new things in a fun environment.   The Alphabet Tree has exceeded my expectations in all these areas. Seeing my children grow and thrive at The Alphabet Tree, I feel confident I made the best decision.

We have a great experience at Alphabet Tree. My son has been going there for 1 year and the teachers are wonderful with my son, and we've seen him learn and grow so much in his time with them. The administration is responsive to questions and helpful. It is a spacious building and my son loves it there which is what matters the most. It's a wonderful place.

My son AJ was enrolled five years at The Alphabet Tree. He had tons of fun in those five years and learned a lot while enrolled. He became not only smarter but more independent. Their programs helped prepare him for when he started kindergarten. We’d like to thank The Alphabet Tree staff for making his stay there educational.

Thank you for all of the wonderful moments and time that you have spent with Shaunie, I am very proud of you, and you have helped Shaunie with her transition so much that she rarely speaks of her mom anymore, and Shaunie seems like she is a very happy child, who I am very proud of also. Shaunie is amazing. Especially after all of the things that she has been through. Thank you so much again.

Finding the right daycare for your child can be a daunting task. We chose the Alphabet Tree primarily due to their focus on early education. Our daughter has attended the Alphabet Tree for four years now, and is learning the skills and knowledge she needs to be successful in kindergarten and beyond. She has fun every day, has made dear friends and is cared for by the staff as though she is a child of their own. The staff at The Alphabet Tree is professional and kind with both the kids and their parents. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for child care.

The Alphabet Tree has been a wonderful place for my daughter since we have transferred here. The staff is very welcoming. The facility is bright and cheery and inviting for children. they provide healthy lunches and snacks, which makes my life as a single mother very easy. we LOVE it here and I couldn't be happier with the decision to put my daughter here.

Raquel Fabio

The Alphabet Tree is a great daycare. From our experience, having had children enrolled as infants through the time they were ready for kindergarten, the staff is professional and genuinely cares about the development of the kids. They have flexible hours and provide lunch and snacks for the kids which is convenient as we both work full- time. They offer a great mix of teaching, playing/activities, and discipline.
