My name is Ms. Maria. I am the lead teacher for the Pre-K room of 4's and 5's. I have been with The Alphabet Tree since 2016. I started working with the 3 yr old's. and then was lucky enough to move up with them to the Pre-K room and spend extra time with them before they are ready to head off to kindergarten.

I am originally from Tyler, Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education. I taught grades 2nd and 3rd before moving to PA in 2011. I have 1 son, Brady who still lives in Texas and as of 2 yrs ago I have a grandson, Bishop. Holidays and summer are when I get to travel back to Texas to see them, and get my fill of truly wonderful Tex-Mex food!!

During my free time I enjoying reading and along with my boyfriend, traveling around to different race tracks to watch dirt races. Of course during the summer my absolute favorite place to be is the beach! I always make sure to plan our vacation at the beach to get my tan on!!

Teaching children has been all I have wanted to do and I am so happy that I can be a small part of your Childs life.
